Earthquake Virtual Reality
AUT and Colab lecturer Dr Stefan Marks used a virtual reality simulation to visualize the 14 November 2016 Kaikoura Earthquake and every earthquake in New Zealand since 1900.
Wearing Virtual Reality googles you can see all different magnitudes with given deeps and scales over the years. It is more easier to understand what is happening under our feet.
So, it helps us to understand better and predict masses movements more accurate.
Auckland University of Technology is ADDICTED to Virtual Reality !!!
