Glasgow Short Film Festival goes Virtual Reality

Immerse yourself in a showcase of VR shorts, including the premiere of a new VR moving image art project. Digital artists Dennis & Debbie Club have collaborated with Scottish moving image artists to create VR environments for their work. Short videos by Stephanie Mann (Still Life on Face, 2012), Beagles & Ramsay (Molar, 2014) and Dennis & Debbie Club themselves (The Strip, 2015) are presented in virtual animated spaces, opening a dialogue with the works and inviting the viewer to explore.

Participants will also have the opportunity to select from six new VR projects, from the UK, France and the Netherlands, including World Premieres of two Scottish 360º films, The Circuit made by the Creative Media Academy at the University of the West of Scotland and The Perfect Place made by Scottish Ballet in partnership with BBC.
