In honor of the 65th Anniversary of CINERAMA

In honor of the 65th Anniversary of CINERAMA. Cooper Auditorium is proud to host three special presentations for CINERAMA WEEKEND at Studio City Mesa’s Cooper Auditorium in Casper.

They will kick things off Friday evening with a showing of SEVEN WONDERS OF THE WORLD IN CINERAMA, the original roadshow version of this Cinerama feature, featuring a live introduction from Cinerama restorationists David Strohmaier and Randy Gitsch. Then at 10pm, Stanley Kubrick’s epic classic 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY IN CINERAMA will take over the Cooper’s giant 64-foot wide deeply curved screen.

On Saturday, join them for a special double feature of the documentary CINERAMA ADVENTURE and THIS IS CINERAMA, with David Strohmaier and Randy Gitsch in attendance to introduce the films. Saturday evening will feature additional screenings of SEVEN WONDERS OF THE WORLD IN CINERAMA and 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY IN CINERAMA.

An additional showing of the CINERAMA ADVENTURE + THIS IS CINERAMA Double Feature will take place Sunday afternoon, followed by a 7:30 screening of 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY IN CINERAMA.

Tickets for SEVEN WONDERS OF THE WORLD IN CINERAMA and the CINERAMA ADVENTURE + THIS IS CINERAMA Double Feature are $12.50 for adults and $9.50 for children and seniors. Tickets for 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY IN CINERAMA are $10 for adults and $7 for children and seniors. Reserve your seats early – tickets for each program are very limited!
